Our club

The club was founded in 1867 and today we are a proud cricket club that is run totally by volunteers. We have teams in all age groups - under 9’s, under 11’s, under 13’s, under 15’s and under 17’s and 2 senior sides. We also run the ECB initiatives, All Stars for 5 to 8 year olds and Dynamos for 8 to 11 year olds.

Not only is our ground used by Penistone Cricket Club, but we also allow Penistone Grammar School to use it for games. Local Community groups such as The Round Table, Scouts, Cubs, Beavers use our facilities. County representative sides have also benefitted from using our facilities.
